FAQ'S

FAQ

FAQ'S

FAQ

What are your points as an engineer and recording studios?

We offer you the best prices along with a great atmosphere. John Seda has over 25 years of experience as a musician, producer and engineer. Our studio is designed to comfort the needs of today's demanding musician. We offer recording gear as well as instruments to perform on, in case of, that last minute inspiration when you wish you had that Fender Strat.

Why are your rates so low?

First of all, I want to clear up the myth about if the price is low, it must be no good. This myth does not apply to our studio. We love and feel extreme passion for music. Some people call that "Mad Love." We would not have it any other way. We offer you the atmosphere, the quality and the best price. Our mission is to provide the means at a affordable price to make you musical experience a pleasant one.

How long have you been in business?

Rising Sun Music recording studios in Tampa Florida close Clearwater has been a reality since 2000. I have had 2 other recording studios under my previous recording label Brown Sound Records established in 1995. When I got married in November 2000, I was inspired by my wife to rename the label to Rising Sun Music Inc. From 1999 to 2003, we were solely dedicated to producing music and as of the end of 2003, we went full time into the recording business.

Are you a record company? Do you sign artist?

No. We are not a label and we do not sign artists. We are a recording studio and music production facility. Today's market is designed for artists to go independent and with all the benefits artists have now with this new technology that offers artists the opportunity to sell their music online without having to share any of their revenues with anyone. We do consult and we do produce music but it is offered as a service. We also have a digital distribution company called http://BornAMusician.com that offers the lowest prices on the planet to distribute your music around the world via 150 digital stores worldwide including iTunes, Amazon, EMusic, Spotify, YouTube Monetization and many more at one low price. For those who get confused because I produce music with many of my friends for promotional purposes we are not a record label. We use Rising Sun Music as a label that represents my music which is no different that many people are doing in the industry today. I am Independent.

Who have you had the pleasure working with?

OUR VISION

Our Vision

OUR VISION

Hi my name is John Seda, and I am the President of Rising Sun Music.  For years, I have been working on developing a new way in music.  Our music is a fusion of traditional and contemporary rhythms.  I decided years ago to develop music that has meaning and that would touch and heal the listener's soul.  I believe in making music, sounds and rhythms that can bring out different emotions within people. Within my travels I became more interested in different styles of music. My vision was to create world music that would implement various rhythms from different countries taking the listener on a world journey. During the years many great artist have recorded with the Rising Sun Music team.  Our concept is that of Unity through music.  Our goal is to develop music that the world can enjoy and embrace.  God created music as the universal language so we can all understand each other without any boundaries. Rising Sun Music is here to assist you in making you musical dream come true.
Sincerely,

JOHN SEDA

Born in Long Island, New York on July 9, 1958, and raised in Puerto Rico, John Seda, President of Rising Sun Music and BornAMusician.com has always had a natural knack for creating music. He learned his first chords at age 11 from his mother, Gloria Seda Lopez. The passion this instilled in him kept him focused on music, and soon after, he began leading most of the bands in which he participated. As leader of these groups, he developed producing skills as he learned sound and experimented with different sound and production techniques. He stood out as a youth because of this difference, and he began playing guitar solos for bigger and better known groups. By the age of 15, he was playing among the best Latin Jazz players of his time.

In working with national and local artists, John has found every project to be a learning experience, both for himself and for the artist. He looks forward to this growing process with every new project. “Sometimes people come in and they have a unique talent, and sometimes they don’t even know they have it,” John says. The opportunity to help harvest that talent is what he loves the most about his job. It gives him the opportunity to help local artists open doors for themselves with their music.
